It was good to see Heitor Alves (Brazil CT surfer) out at J’Bay yesterday – putting in some practice for the Billabong Pro in a few weeks time. Heitor ruled the QS last year and was impossible to beat.

The web surf predictions sent us up and down the Garden Route hoping to catch some epic waves….we missed everything….too early, too late, wrong predictions, eech. Only “Surfline” had it right. Next time……

This was the day before the Quik Pro Portugal. The waves were really fun! Julian Wilson ended up taking out the event with huge heat scores through out. Had my money on him since early on!!

Spent the day in “Slaapstad”……a haircut, an interview with Wayne and Ryan for the J’Bay Billabong Pro, hang out with Adele……and catch a flight to London, then Lisbon, then the Quik Pro 6*Prime in Ericeira

Was on my way to a “secret spot”, but ended up at J-bay. Had some super fun waves with all the locals….

Not even “SUPERMAN” could help us !!!! The 6*Prime at Imbituba has not treated the SAFFAS well – only Royden is still left in the contest, smoking his round of 48 heat……holding thumbs Roy, good luck !!!!
