The Telstra Drug Aware Pro finished almost a week ago, with John Florence winning, comfortably. I have decided to hang around here, because the waves are sick and I really like it here. I would have to say this is my favourite contest of the year! In other unrelated news, the surfing world has lost one of it’s biggest legends, Michael Peterson. RIP
It’s good to be back.
So good to be back in West Aus. It’s definitely my one of my favourite stops on the tour. Frothing for 2 weeks in this joint!

Tomorrow is my last day in Bali. Very sad to be leaving – I’ve had an amazing time. Back to Europe, back to grovel mode. Did I mention that this has been like one of the best trips ever?!

Still having a whale of a time in Bali. The winds and conditions haven’t been ideal, but being in paradise, it’s easy not to care. If I can surf twice a day, I am very happy! And since when did Uluwatu get so crowded?!

Been loving my first two days in Bali, but then again if you can’t enjoy Bali you have some serious issues! Hopefully some barrel time soon!
Maldives
On my way to the Maldives for a boat trip with Sheriff and a few Saffas. We are going to the Southern Islands – apparently more and bigger surf than the north. I have been to the northern islands a few times before – for my 14th birthday we stayed on Lohifushi and scored good Coke’s for a day or two but surfed the left at Lohifushi mostly. This photo of Lohifushi was taken on the opposite side of the island, we stayed in a bungalow just behind the deck chairs on the beach……good memories….and I was rippen !!!
